I am a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom 2006-2007
I am serving in my first year as a member of VFW
Post 180
I attended to R.O.T.C. Basic Camp at Fort Knox, KY in 1975.  I graduated from
Kemper Military School and College in 1977 and was commissioned a 2LT, FA
in the USAR in 1979.  My MOS is 13A (Cannon Battery Officer).

I have served on Active Duty, Florida National Guard, US Army Reserves and
Individual Ready Reserve (IRR).  In 2005 I was mobilized for service in Iraq.  
While awaiting deployment, attended the Mobilization Civil Affairs Course and
received the MOS designator "6K" (Civil Affairs Officer).  Assigned to the
414th Civil Affairs Battalion as the Bn S-1, we deployed to Iraq in April of
2006, returning in April of 2007.  

Am am married and have 2 children, 2 grandchildren (with another on the
way) and 2 cats.  We enjoy camping and bicycling.
